OUR DESIGNERS

The word design can refer to both a drawing and a plan. For Snaidero, creating a design means taking on the responsibility of first finding and then developing a complete and harmonious idea of the world. With a dynamic approach and a complete understanding of culture, Snaidero can steer the entire company’s processes in this direction: production, resource distribution and customer relations. In all of this, there is a strong desire to contribute to the creation of a balance that can concern both actors, producers and consumers. However, both of these themes are considered the only way Snaidero believes possible, on a human level, now more than ever at the heart of any design and conceptual approach. We often set out to design socially responsible products and ultimately design socially responsible processes as well. It is now possible – and therefore necessary – to contribute to the design of responsible individual behaviour. Ours and yours, with full cooperation and in different attitudes.

“A good design cannot exist if it is not practical, and perfect function cannot be achieved without perfect form”

MASSIMO IOSA GHINI

“I design an object by imagining it in terms of the architectural concept of ‘fullness’, where the outer surface is seen as a shell rather than a membrane. This gives rise to projects based on tradition, which are also undeniably contemporary due to their strong versatility ”

MICHELE MARCON

“The aesthetic value of an object can delight us and fill our hearts, but only if its formal harmony is combined with only after a specific function can its immortality be guaranteed, beauty and utility must be designed to fulfill this purpose.”

ALESSANDRO ANDREUCCI & CHRISTIAN

” The idea for a project originated from our attempt to provide a functional answer to the space: we focused on this space with the intention making it work while it is being used, but also before and after, creating a productive environment that is very pleasant at other times”

ANGELO MANGIAROTTI

“Design has its own world in which to act. The risk is that by going beyond this practical and theoretical boundary, market setups are created which, however, are short-lived. Be careful of useless things”

“The rigor of geometry has always inspired my projects, along with the need to free space from the burden of symbols.”

“Design is the distinguishing feature of an object: from thousands of possible shapes, an object is selected, the most meaningful and representative of a cultural moment within us, in harmony with our times.”

“I find that the most successful audiences are those that are anonymous, in the right way. This should be a feature that a design must have. Focus on the object, on its results, to ensure it has a much longer lifespan”

“Architecture must provide instructions that are also valuable to others, helping others learn new things, like a kind of training with good intentions”
