It's worthwhile to compare
Refrigerators and freezers operate 24/7 and account for up to 15 percent of the electricity bill and so, nowadays, more and more consumers are taking note of the appliance's energy efficiency class when buying new. For an appliance to be considered particularly efficient, it must offer high performance but consume relatively little energy. Classifications and energy labels, such as the EU energy label, provide information about an appliance's energy consumption level and about its features, so that efficiencies can be compared.
Saving energy without compromising convenience
Liebherr was one of the first manufacturers in Europe to develop and market refrigerators and freezers in the highest energy efficiency class, A+++. In addition to outstanding energy efficiency, Liebherr also focuses its product development activities on user friendliness. Our sophisticated features and technologies work together in order to reduce energy consumption, make everyday life easier, and provide optimum storage conditions for food - and it's not only us with high product expectations, our customers have them too! Customers want optimum convenience and to be able store their food at the very best temperature and humidity, without having to spend a fortune on energy, and we make this all possible.
Investing in a new appliance pays off
Liebherr is setting new standards for energy saving with its CBPesf 4043 fridge-freezer. This appliance, which features BioFresh, has an energy consumption level that is as much as 20 percent lower than the EU-stipulated threshold level for the top efficiency class. With A+++ appliances you are already making huge savings with energy costs as they use almost 60 percent less energy than the basic A-class appliances. As a general rule, new models use far less energy and thereby make an important contribution to climate protection. And, in view of rising energy prices, a new appliance can pay for itself in just a few years.
